Anker Sikkerhet AS conduct courses according to IMO's standards. This helps ensure that the quality of the content of the courses complies with the requirements of the ISPS Code and EU Regulation 725/2004.
Courses not included in the IMO Model Course are made according to the same template so that they will maintain the same high standard.
The courses can be arranged by appointment at the customer's address.

IMO Model Courses
The course lasts over three days and gives the course participant the competence to hold the position as Port Facility Security Officer or Port Security Officer in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code.
The course is approved by the Coastal Administration
The course lasts for one day and is intended for persons at port facilities that have dedicated security tasks in accordance with the definition in the ISPS Code.
Security Awareness Training For All Port Facility Staff
The course lasts over 4 hours and is intended for all personnel who will perform work or services at / for an ISPS port facility. The course provides basic competence in the ISPS code and behavior within the port facility's ISPS boundary.
The course is based on the Coastal Administration's Course supervisor of 18.12.2014, visual inspection of persons and hand luggage and visual inspection of vehicles and goods.
The course provides basic competence in visual control mentioned in the Coastal Course course supervisor.
The course lasts one day and assumes that the course participant has already completed the course IMO MC 3.24, Security Awareness Training For Port Facility Personnel With Designated Security Duties.
The course satisfies the Coastal Administration's requirements for training.
The course will last two days. Day one is a theoretical introduction to why staff and "who does what" in the staff.
The course is suitable for private companies or municipal / government agencies that need to set a staff at events.
The course can later be supplemented by day-to-day staff exercises by appointment.
