Anker Sikkerhet AS is a company that supplies services to ISPS port facilities and ports in Norway.
The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) is an international regulatory framework issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which applies to all port facilities and ports in the world for ship that have an International Ship Security Certificate, abbreviated to the ISSC certificate. The ISPS Code sets out how to hedge port facilities / ports. Furthermore, the EU has issued its own regulation that imposes requirements on states in the EU as well as EEA states, EU Regulation 725/2004. These regulations provide a basis for the Norwegian regulations for the protection of ISPS port facilities and ports. (Regulations on Port Facility Security 538 and Port Security Regulations 539)
Anker Sikkerhet AS is, as an approved Recognized Security Organization (RSO) approved by the Norwegian Coastal Administration to prepare risk assessment of port facilities and ports in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code. This involves carrying out risk assessment based on the following risks:
The Coastal Administration is the managing authority in Norway and will endorse all
completed risk assessments.
In addition, Anker Sikkerhet AS can provide security plans and security plans for port facilities and ports based on approved risk assessment. This is the most important document for port facilities and ports. This is because it is the security plan which regulates in detail how the port facility and port security work is carried out daily and in a way that meets the requirements of the ISPS regulations. The Coastal Administration will also endorse all completed security plans.
